When the season starts?
Usually skiing season starts in late November or early December, depending on the weather. There must be snow at the stadium for ski courses.

What kind of courses do you have?
We have group courses for first timers and beginners.
For advanced skiers, private courses available.
Group courses are only for the adults.

Can children participate in group courses?
Our group courses are only for the adults, children under 18 years old can't participate.
We have ski courses for the younger children in Finnish, private courses available also in English.
How often are ski courses held?
We run ski courses every week throughout the winter season, please follow booking calendars for updates. We open course bookings about two weeks in advance depending on weather.
Weather conditions
Heavy snowing or the city streets full of slush, will the courses still take place? Courses will take place in all weathers, until we inform otherwise to every participant personally. Thanks to the man-made snow, Paloheinä often has good skiing conditions, even if there is no snow elsewhere. Even raining doesn't ruin the ski trails. Courses are held at the ski stadium, you can find a camera filming the stadium in real time on the town's website.

If the course is fully booked, you can register on the waiting list in case of cancellations, please send us an email.
