Welcome to spend a varied and exciting outdoor day with the whole family at the main event of National Skiing Day in Paloheinä!

You can expect fun exercise, skiing excitement, and the thrill of top-level sports – and, of course, winter activities for all ages.

At the event, you can enjoy Finland's largest outdoor competition studio, where you can follow the men's 50 km classic skiing competition at the Winter Olympics.

The program includes for example:

• Finland's largest outdoor competition viewing area – Men's 50 km classic (mass start at 12)

• Sauna world – Bring your own towel!

• Children's Ski Land and Moomin characters

• Guided Moomin family ski lessons for the whole family (in Finnish)

• Guided adult skiing technique lessons (in Finnish)

• Ski testing and waxing station

The event is free of charge and open to everyone.

Food, drinks, and kiosk products are available for purchase in the area. You can also heat up your own snacks on fire place.
